BREAKING NEWS: The highly awaited second installment of the equally awaited “Cómeme Mucho” series is here — a series of digitally released Singles focussing on one track and a corresponding version or remix! Cómeme commits to providing hits from a perfect parallel world - always in line with the label’s strict quality control, which it is famous for.
Single number two in this first season is written and produced by none other than the Don himself - Matias Aguayo drops “Flouz” featuring Alf L’artiste from Paris, France - and they have excellent company: New York City’s Toribio as the remixer of this “Cómeme Mucho” edition.
“Flouz/The Cash Song” is a banging, crud, and minimalist brute house stomper in which we hear Alf L’artiste reciting all kinds of francophone slang words for “money”. This track, which has already proven effective on dance floors around the globe is taken from the theatre piece “Flouz”, a play for which Aguayo composed music which he performed on the stage of the majestic “Theatre du Chatelet” in Paris.
This piece was a financial circus, a powerful performance about Money, Finance, Capitalism, and class society. The actors were mainly inmates and ex-inmates of the Centre Penitentiaries de Meaux prison just outside the French capital. The play was written in workshops at the prison, in homeless shelters, with terminal patients of the Pitié Salpetriere hospital, and elementary school children. Alongside Aguayo’s compositions, you could also hear fabulous pianist Shani Diluka playing with Pierre Boulez’s legendary Ensemble Intercontemporain.

Nearly 50 years old now, and in a lifetime of listening to music this is a serious contender for one of the best albums. A sun-kissed obscure 80s pop soundtrack for imaginary or real European holidays. Sheer bliss 😎☀️🎧 Pablo Adaskabar
